A plan of how the new scheme at Canada Road might look

The Gabalfa Liberal Democrat Focus Team has welcomed news that the Whitchurch Road end of Canada Road will soon be benefiting from an investment project.

Following a request from local Liberal Democrats, Cardiff Council have agreed plans to make the area more attractive by adding seating and new plants. Road safety at the site will also be improved.

Local Liberal Democrat candidate, John Dixon, said: "A similar scheme by Gladstone School in Cathays was very well-received and has really transformed the vicinity. I am pleased that the Council are investing in our area with this scheme. Hopefully it will make Canada Road more attractive for residents and also for the parents and pupils at Ysgol Mynydd Bychan."
